Tango Courses in Leiden
Our tango courses in Leiden are designed for dancers who already have a basic foundation in Argentine tango.
Unlike traditional group classes, our courses are intentionally limited to an exclusive circle of dancers: a maximum of four couples per course. OUR ANNUAL COURSES
We organise annually three different tango courses in Leiden; every course is offered only once per year, each course is centred on a specific topic.
TANGO COURSE - STRENGTHEN YOUR FOUNDATION
Topic: Review, enhance and develop your tango foundation. To increase your confidence on the dance floor, achieve a more reliable connection with your partner, improve the comfortability of your embrace and posture, improve your technique and clarify all the doubts and questions you might have.
Level: At least 6 months of tango
When: January 2027
Price: 150 € per person for 6 lessons
TANGO COURSE - THE ART OF FOLLOWING
Topic: A course designed exclusively for followers who want to feel more stable, expressive, confident, and musically free in their tango. Refine your technique, deepen your musicality, and expand your repertoire of embellishments to enrich your dancing.
Level: At least 6 months of tango
When: April 2027
Price: 150 € per person for 6 lessons
TANGO COURSE - DEEPEN YOUR MUSICALITY
Topic: Learn how to recognise the musical elements in a tango song (melody, rhythm, pauses, phrasing, syncopations, variations, etc.) and how to adapt your body energy and quality of movement to them, enriching your interpretation and expanding your expressive possibilities on the dance floor.
Level: At least 6 months of tango
When: September 2026
Price: 150 € per person for 6 lessons

CAN I SIGN UP TO A TANGO COURSE AS A SINGLE OR DO I NEED A PARTNER?
For "The art of following" course you do not need a partner. For the other courses you need a partner to sign up. We can help find you a dance partner if you do not have one.
DO I NEED TANGO EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND A COURSE?
Yes, you need at least 6 months of tango experience.
IN WHICH LANGUAGE IS THE COURSE TAUGHT?
